Non-Sponsored Event
You indicated that this event is not a school-sponsored activity.
This event should not be represented to parents as a school-sponsored activity.
Please include the following statement in the event promotional materials: “This is not a school-sponsored activity.”
If any employees or students inquire what is a non-school sponsored event,
you are required to provide them with the following notification when discussing the event:
This is not a school-sponsored activity. This means that participants are attending in a personal capacity,
and not as an employee or student of LAUSD. Because this activity is outside the scope of your employment or enrollment,
you will not be insured, compensated, or indemnified by the school or by LAUSD for any incident, loss of property,
illness, or injury that may occur on your way (to and from), and during the event.

Does the off-site fundraiser have patrons purchase or pick up food/items on their own time?
Will the off-site fundraiser include a school organized and supervised gathering at the off-site location?
